ÂAngel John bows out

It was predicted by some trade pundits, but none suggested that it will be harsher to this extent. The latest bad news gripping the industry is that Mohanlal's ÂAngel John has crashed terribly at the Box office and is declared a holdover from the day five at many centres. The movie couldn't stand up to the great interest that Keralites is presently pouring on to the other big movie on theatres ÂPazhassi RajaÂ. Many feels sorry for the director Jayasuriya who has not made a bad film, but couldn't save it from a release at the most inappropriate time. With the big list of films that are to grace theatres next week, ÂAngel John with its present state of collections will clear off the major centres in a maximum of three weeks. The movie is one of the biggest ever failures from Mohanlal in recent times, only after to ÂPhotographerÂ, which came out a couple of years ago.
